Inspired by my life in Bali for several years, I passionately selected each piece of Batik, traditional Indonesian fabrics, on the islands of Bali and Java to design and create these accessories.
Still used as traditional clothing in Bali, batik is the ancestral Indonesian textile art, passed down from generation to generation. Each fabric is a work of art and tells a story.
Traditionally hand or stamp printed, Batik's artisanal techniques can result in imperfections in the print or color. Imperfections are part of the value and history of each piece. This is what constitutes authenticity and what makes it unique.
