U.S. Q U A R T E R R I N G S • Material: 75% Copper, 25% Nickel Alloy • Dimensions: 5.5 mm • Finish Options: Antique or Burnished (Coming Soon) • All jewelry is custom made, by hand with superior attention to detail. • Available in U.S. ring sizes 3-14 H O W I T ‘ S M A D E • Each quarter ring is created with an uncirculated coin issued by the United States Mint. • The coin goes through a process called annealing where it is heated to a high temperature and rapidly cooled. • A center hole is created in the coin with a punch and die. The hole size is correlated to the requested band width. The standard band width is 5.5 mm. (Coming soon are skinny bands at 4.2 mm and wide bands at 7 mm.) • The metal is folded and stretched to the proper U.S. ring size requested. • Once sized, the coin is burnished or antiqued with abrasive material to give it the unique antique finish. • The burnished finish rings are placed into a jewelry tumbler and tumbled for several hours until a polished surface is achieved. • All rings are coated with a protective jewelry coating called ProtectaClear to keep the antique look from wearing over time. This also protects the ring from scratches. The lifespan of the coating is dependent on how often the ring is worn and how active you are with your hands.
