4. The topper has to be a little bit wider than the width of your aquarium or it Will NOT work.
5. Measure the exact width of your aquarium, don't guess at it, don't assume it, don't go by measurements on a box or website.
6. Because the wire comes in 1/2" increments, you will have to go up, ROUND UP to the next measurement to get the width that will work. Message me if you are unsure. Ordering the wrong size and
then telling me you want something different does not guarantee you will get something different because I may fail to make note of the change.
7. And don't forget to message me with details for your ramp and door after purchase. The only people leaving less than 5 star reviews are those who did not customize their ramp size. I have no clue
what size turtle you have or how high your water level is so for me to guess at what size ramp you need, well that usually doesn't turn out well. Read below for details.
This is a custom design for a turtle
I can make this for any size aquarium.
This one measures 18.5" wide x 18" long x 12" tall (10" above the aquarium with 2" overhang)
The width of the aquarium is the most important measurement (if you aren't sure, its better to be safe and message me with questions). The topper needs to be just a little bit larger than your aquarium. They are not returnable if you order the wrong size. The basking floor will be flush across the top and 2" will over hang front and back. This will hold it in place nicely and the ends are open so it will slide back and forth for vacuuming or in case you need to reach inside the aquarium.
Important Details to READ:
*****Message me after you purchase and tell me if you want a top door, front door or door on the narrow end of the basking area. The ramp has 1" sides so you want to make sure to tell me the width you need (allowing for growth of your turtle) and also the length (usually depends on water level in the aquarium). You can also tell me if you want the ramp centered or towards the back or front. If you fail to give me this information then you are agreeing to be satisfied with what I send you and you will not be able to open a claim afterwards saying you did not get what you ordered. You will receive a top door and whatever size ramp I put on it, unless you tell me different. *****
Pricing Choices below: they will both have 16 gauge galvanized welded wire sides and top. The price difference will be whether you want the entire topper made from galvanized wire or if you want a vinyl coated floor and ramp. The only difference between the two will be the type of floor/ramp you choose. The vinyl coated is also 16 gauge so it is durable.
bar spacing is 1/2" x 1" for galvanized & 1/2" x 1/2" for vinyl coated
if you choose vinyl for the floor/ramp, the vinyl bar spacing is 1/2" x 1/2"
Aquarium is not included.
