▽ Shipping/Replacements
Our current turn-around time between receiving an order and shipping is usually 1-3 business days. We typically create the trackable shipping label which triggers an email notification on the day we bring your order to the post, however occasionally we will create the label prior to processing. If you have received a shipping notification and no further USPS updates/scans within 5 days of placing your order, please contact us at frostmothapothecary@gmail.com. Once the order is with the post, we no longer have control of your package. Due to the prevalence of scams against small businesses, we are no longer offering replacements of lost or stolen packages. If you live in an area prone to these issues, please monitor your tracking information to ensure you can receive your package.
We offer replacements in the case of damage caused in domestic transit or an error in your order. Please take a photo of the damage or the incorrect item and send it to us and we will organize a replacement. We are unable to replace international items due to damage, lost or stolen packages.

Yes! To ensure you find the perfect fragrance we highly recommend that you try a sample before investing in a full-size bottle. Oil-based fragrances interact with your natural body chemistry and can smell different on different people. ▽ Ingredients/Packaging
Our fragrance blend formulas consist of both essential oils and fragrance oils. Whenever possible we use natural essential oils, however, to achieve certain fragrances unavailable locally, organically, or ethically, we use synthetic fragrance oils. All ingredients are sourced from reputable distributors and we endeavor to follow IFRA standards when formulating blends. When used to dilute ingredient oils to a skin safe state, our carrier oil is organic fractionated coconut oil. Please note that we are currently in the process of updating our labels to include our ingredients. Your bottle may look different than the one pictured, however, the Frost Moth vibe remains the same :) Our perfume oil comes in a 10ML glass bottle with a no-spill acrylic roller or a 1ML vial with a black plastic applicator wand.
▽ What is the difference between Essential Oils and Fragrance Oils?
Essential oils are highly concentrated extracts sourced from various parts of plants such as bark, roots, seeds, stems, flowers, leaves, and fruits, typically obtained through steam distillation. In contrast, fragrance oils are composed of synthetic compounds designed to mimic the scent of essential oils. Essential oils must be diluted with a “carrier oil” prior to application on skin in order to be safe. We use organic fractionated coconut oil as our standard carrier oil.

If you have an allergy, please be aware that due to the variety of the oils we source, our complex proprietary blends, and our small studio space, we cannot guarantee with absolute certainty that any fragrance purchased will be free of subtle ingredient cross-contamination, purchase at your discretion. While we do not disclose the details/ratios of our formulas, please reach out if you have any questions on the ingredients or sources, we are more than happy to oblige.
