You can choose between 2.5, 5, 7.5, and 10 lb boxes, with or without hardware. I highly recommend including hardware so that I can fit the correct size bolts/screws to your custom box. We offer indoor and outdoor bolts. Indoor bolts are made of alloy steel and are the industry standard (same as you would find in a climbing gym). The outdoor bolts are made of Stainless Steel to prevent rust from destroying your bolts. Stainless Steel bolts are extremely expensive, but completely worth it if your climbing wall/climbing holds will be outside. If you add tnuts they will be the standard 4-prong tnut.

How many holds will come in a box? On average, a 10 pound box will have between 24-30 holds and I try to include as much variety as possible. If you request to have all "big jugs," then that number would go down because bigger holds weigh more. The product photos give you several ideas on what a 2.5, 5, 7.5 and 10 pound box will be. Keep in mind, every box will be different and no two boxes are the same.
How many holds do you need? As a general rule of thumb, you want 25-30 holds per 4' x 8' sheet of plywood that is on your climbing wall. I read every customer note and am happy to do my best to match your overstock box with your needs. Leave me a note with any preferences you have or even give me your setup and climbing ability (I.E.”I have a 30 degree wall and am a V1-4 climber,” or, “this will be for 5-7 year old kids on a vertical wall”). I can match your box of holds to tailor to your wall and abilities.
Every hold will be a completely finished product, these are not defect holds! They are ready to bolt or screw onto your wall immediately. Some of the boxes will feature brand new holds that aren’t for sale yet! Each box will be random in color, it just depends on what I have at the time.
