The suspender shorts feature a flat front waistband, and elastic in the back waistband. The suspender straps button on to the bloomer shorts in the front and back, and have two buttonholes in the back to be able to adjust for longer wear. A velvet ribbon strip where the suspenders cross keeps the straps from slipping off of the shoulders. The suspenders are completely removeable, allowing the bloomer shorts to be worn on their own as well!
