We carefully clean the seeds from Maui grown fruit. The seeds are wet packed in damp paper toweling inside a sealed plastic baggie. Please observe your seeds germinate indoors inside the baggies that they arrive in. Please keep warm (75-85 degrees) at all times.
Chocolate Sapote fruit has the most unique flavor. It tastes similar to chocolate mousse or to me, more like a chocolate lilikoi. If you have never tried one, you must. The fruit is green on the outside at first and ripens very quickly, it is only ready to eat once the skin turns black and the fruit pulp is BLACK inside. (Never eat the green fruit, only the deep rich ripe black pulp).
