Solomon and Tummler are two teenage boys who live in Xenia, Ohio. A few years ago, a tornado swept through town, destroying more than half the buildings and killing half the residents, including Solomon's father. The boys inhabit lazy days and haphazard lives seeking thrills by sniffing glue, killing cats, having sex, riding BMX bikes, and listening to black metal.
Apparently, the world has spun off its axis in Xenia, Ohio because things are getting creepy, sad, and bizarre by the minute. In Director Harmony Korine's vision, life in rural America is nihilistic and disturbing, with occasional moments of quiet beauty.
The Film is non-linear veering from realistic to strangely surreal moments. It's a stylized aesthetic that's perfectly suited to the characters and locale. Rich symbolism and unforgettable images demand one's attention in this unrelenting assault on the status quo. We are given a glimpse of an America that's rural and isolated straddling the border between malignant sadism and total insanity...it's a humbling unsettled vision.

CONDITION: This RARE beautiful French Poster is in "VERY FINE" to "EXCELLENT" condition as if it was printed yesterday and not over (26) years ago. This French Grande (1-panel) is oversized, vibrant, and glossy. It has normal edge, crease, and surface wear for its era and will frame beautifully.
Please refer to the Photo detail and the grading status in the "9-GRADE" System graphs in the photo log. Black clips were used in the photography of these posters so as to limit handling and wear. These Clips are Black with silver handles and are visible in photographs in each of the (4) corners.
Please Note: These Posters are anywhere from 20-70 years old and were issued to movie theaters at the time of the film's release. All Posters came through Auction, Gallery purchase, or from the original movie theater proprietors. Although all posters are stored FLAT and carefully maintained, original poster art of this age can never be in perfect unused condition as it was originally displayed in a Movie Theater.
Any Folds, Tears, or Pinholes are detailed in the notes and close-up pictures. Any glare in the image is due to the camera angle and is not a defect in the poster.
