These sturdy vinyl replacement mailbox post brackets are made from dimensional vinyl boards (similar to Azek).
No mailbox or vertical post is included with this part. Only the bracket itself as shown in all the photos and new screws. The last photo showing a full mailbox and post is only to show the bracket in it's most common use.
The bracket attaches to your vertical post first with 3 screws (see photo), then with the 6" long bolt to really snug it in-place.
The part of the bracket that goes against your vertical post is 3.5" wide... so your vertical post should be at least a little wider than 3.5".
