This standard deck of playing cards (3.5”x2.5”) includes 54 cards printed on 330gsm (grams per square meter) cardstock right here in the USA. Other companies might have settled at 280gsm or 300gsm to cut costs. Heck, normal casino cards are printed on 310gsm cardstock, but we wanted our artwork to last longer than most decks on the market. 330gsm is closer to what “Magic the Gathering” cards are printed on, so they will withstand hundreds of shuffles!
Needless to say, we wanted to make sure your purchase of our artwork would hold up use after use. Right out of the box, the first few shuffles might be a little stiff (due to the higher quality cardstock), but we trust that they will “break in” after those initial shuffles and last for a long time. We want you to be able to enjoy our artwork just as much on the 100th poker night as you do on the 1st poker night!
