Many of you know that Alyssa, from our shop, is a Marine Biologist, but you may not know that her passion is sea turtles. We took Made By Mandy's beautiful ocean themed crocheted blanket and designed our very own leatherback sea turtle hatchings (Alyssa's favorite sea turtle) to look like they are hatching into the ocean.
The toddler/infant blanket is approximately 29" W x 39" L and and includes 2 handmade leatherback hatchlings. The blanket is made from soft acrylic yarn, which can be washed on the gentle cycle in your washing machine and dried on the low setting in your dryer.
The adult blanket is approximately 44”W x 60”L and includes 4 handmade leatherback hatchlings. The blanket is made from soft acrylic yarn, which can be washed on the gentle cycle in your washing machine and dried on the low setting in your dryer.
The leatherback hatchlings are hand crocheted and stitched and then appliqued to the blanket.
