1 - "Moorpark" Apricot Tree - Best to Order and Plant Now
The trees are dormant in the cooler, leafless, handled well, and they will be packed as bare root. Order now and all the way through early-Spring. The supply is good. Ships about 18+ inches... nice. Popular item that sold out quickly last time... Budded/grafted onto a good stock, they will grow quickly.
Fairly rare in the marketplace, the Moorpark Apricot is a delicious sweet fruit. It will grow up to 20-30 feet tall, hardy of drier conditions, and good for limited spaces. Hardy in most soils, good for Plant Zones 5 to 9, medium watering. They grow best in full sun, but partial shading fine as well. They are hefty and fast growing...
This tree is 2 year olds, typical root is fibrous with some fine roots. They are budded/grafted onto the Manchurian stock, with the tree varying from 16+ inches tall. Good hardy plants checked before packing.

Generally plan on this:
If you live in the Southern half of the country, order starting November, and take delivery right away. Plant (or pot) the tree right away. You can plant as long as your ground is not frozen. Put a thick layer of mulch around it. Get planted by mid-April before the warmer weather arrives.
If you live in the Northern half of the country, order during the late Winter, and take delivery early. Pot up your tree and hold it in a dark, cool, moist location, that will get a minimal amount of light and some moisture, but cool enough to keep it dormant until you can plant it outdoors. Plant as soon as your ground thaws. After planting, put a thick layer of mulch around it.
Once you get your plants, open the box and put them in a bucket of water, and plant right away. If you can not plant right away, then pot the plants or/and hold the plants in a cool dark, moist location until they can be planted.
Always best to add a thick mulch layer. Having a thick layer of mulch helps to conserve soil moisture, keeps the weeds down, and helps recycle the nutrients. A thick mulch layer also moderates the soil temperatures, which then reduces the stress on the roots.

Make sure your ship-to address is correct, errors in the address is your responsibility. Best to keep watch of your delivery as postal delays have been common. Please no PO Boxes, there will be a $15 fee added.
Returns: This is an "all sales are final" offering, of which we will not accept returns or refunds. The exceptions are for orders cancelled before we ship, and damages caused by the shipping carrier.
Replacements: If your package arrives damaged or "lost" according to the tracking, then we will send a replacement order. Please let us know immediately. As damages can occur during transit, please notify us immediately. We may need pictures and/or the items returned to us to help process the return and any carrier claim.
Should we agree to a replacement plant (outside of damaged or lost packages), then we there will be a replacement charge to cover shipping and handling. If we agree to a replacement, then there will be a shipping and handling cost of $14.95, payable prior to re-shipment. We do Not guarantee the plant will live or grow in a particular manner, they are checked and verified before packing.
Guarantees: No... we can Not make any assurances that your plants will live, grow, survive, or perform in any particular manner, whether expressed or implied. All plants are inspected and verified as "good" prior to packing and shipment. These are good plants, handled and packed well. Once out of our care, we can make No assurances other than the order will be filled and shipped as quickly as possible.
For the most part, over the last 40+ years, we have had very good success shipping plants, but it is out of our control once the shipping carrier takes the box, how they handle it, and then what the buyer does with the plants. We will get you the plants, but the rest is in your hands. Sound reasonable?
For non-nursery items, some items can be replaced if lost or damaged in transit, but most items in our Shop are offered as a one-of-a-kind offering. Other arrangements may need to be made.
