Our Create your own DIY Backdrop labels are suitable to fit Sailboards up to 3ft or 100cm wide and are not suitable for use on FABRIC backdrops.

If you are looking to create your own event signs, backdrops or sailboards, then these ready to use labels are perfect. Simply provide your chosen text, colour, layout and font, and we will send out everything ready to apply.
The Labels for this listing are set up to fit various Sailboards usually up to 3ft in width and 6ft in height. However, If you have any questions about sizing or require a label for a larger sailboard please get in touch.
To place your order you would select your font and vinyl colour then in the personalisation box you would provide the wording you would like, any layout information and also confirm the size of your Wooden sailboard (a full list of materials our labels can be used with is shown on the colour chart in the listing photos)
Although we do not have a maximum quantity for text, the more text requested the smaller the writing will become. An example of the overall size of our labels is shown on the main listing image for reference.
If no size is provided for your wooden sailboard we will size the text to fit a 3ft by 6ft backdrop which means the text may not fit your backdrop if it is a smaller or larger in size.
If you don't see the font style you are looking for, then please just get in touch and we will be more than happy to provide suitable options to match your theme. (excl copyright or trademark fonts)
The labels are suitable to be applied to Wood (ie plywood, MDF etc), Acrylic, Mirror, Plastic, Cardboard, Foamboard or any other smooth hard surfaces.
We recommend for use on wooden sailboards painting with a suitable primer first or using a satin/eggshell or gloss finish furniture/wood grade Paint with a built-in primer which is best suited to be used on MDF and other wood. These paint finishes that we recommend work well with vinyl and have been tested. We do not recommend the use of matt paint as this may lift onto the vinyl on application reducing the adhesion of the vinyl. Please note that adhesive build-up can occur if you apply multiple labels on your backdrop, we therefore recommend regularly sanding and re painting your backdrop to ensure the vinyl can adhere to the surface correctly.
Our labels are NOT suited to work on FABRIC and some other materials, but please contact us if you have any questions about this or would like to check before placing your order.
Photos show the labels applied to a large 3ft by 6ft sailboard to show a sizing example. The actual size of your labels will be dependent on the backdrop size, text and font requested and the layout you would like. This will be shown on the digital mock-up we send you for approval.
As a DIY product please note that if items are applied incorrectly/improperly we cannot provide a refund and they will not be able to be returned. Once the vinyl is applied it cannot be repositioned. The Buyer will accept all responsibility for the application of each item. These items are effectively 'sold as seen'. As the buyer, you are responsible for the surfaces, application, spelling/colour any mistakes lay with you. I, as the seller, am not responsible for the items after arrival, storage or application.
All orders are usually dispatched within 2 working days and posted Tracked 24 with Royal Mail however you can also upgrade to Special Delivery by 1 pm delivery at checkout.
