This bast fiber is green decorticated and is not being sold as a finished fiber product. You may find bark, vegetable matter and hurd still attached, as well as minimal alignment and combing of the fibers. The fibers have not been retted or softened. The fiber is still pretty 'raw' and may need further processing depending on your intended use. Bundles may arrive in one or multiple sets depending on the amount you purchase.
I have several 'colors' of this combed fiber. Just like other bast fibers, banana fiber can vary in color due to harvesting times, retting conditions and lengths, and the hatchelling process. Due to this you can choose from light, medium, and dark combed banana fibers.
