Y&Y Costumes is very happy to be finally able to release their new line : Mercurious ! After 10 years of mermaiding in our private life, constructing tails for ourselves, we wish to offer various kind of tails in the future for all of our customers, past & to come.
We thought we could start with this brand new model of Hybrid mermaid tail !
It is made of a neoprene body covered with plastic/resin scales attached to a Silicone fluke. These tails are 100% handmade.
**About the Fluke**
The flukes are made of skin safe Dragon Skin Silicone with a carbon blade monofin built securely inside to help you swim with ease, and painted with coloring shifting, iridescent paint.
The coloring of your fluke will be custom made to your wishes, as long as it matches the colors of the scales available.
We are working with special iridescent pigments to get the most fishy look possible !
Custom made Flukes shapes are available, but please note that the mold will be re-used for other orders later in time. This means your design won't be exclusive.
**About the Body**
It is made of a 3.5mm thick neoprene body, with about 6000 to 9000 scales* handsewn individually with a very resistant thread. The color of the neoprene and zipper matches the color scheme chosen and the zipper is carefully hidden. The model we show in pictures is made with plastic scales but we are currently designing our own iridescent resin scales. If you are interested in the resin scales, the price won't be higher or lower , so don't hesitate to drop us a message ;)
Size will be custom made.
Since we are only debuting this branch, our scales colors are limited for now but the possibility of color scheme are endless depending on how you organize them!

Four way stretch, soft spandex fabric lines the inside of the body for total comfort whether worn by land or by sea.
**Add-ons**
We can customize your tail with hip fins, heel fins, dorsal fins... Tell us your wildest dreams and we'll do our best to meet your expectations !
We include ONE set of additional fins for free, there will be an additional charge if you want more. For example, if you want hip fins, you won't be charged for them, but if you want a dorsal fin as well, you'll be charged for the most expensive of the two sets.

We can also add one of our mermaid bras either at a discounted price or instead of the free fin set, that will match the color of your tail. Each mermaid bra is unique and decorated with care.
