CLASSIC COTTON COLLAR STYLES
Buckle: The standard in the collar world, this classic design features a black plastic side release buckle & silver hardware. It functions as a classic flat collar.
Slip on: This unique collar features a sleek design that really shows off the print, it is a customer favorite. It functions as a classic flat collar. This collar does NOT tighten when pulled like a martingale. Made with plenty of adjusting room, you can be assured the collar will be able to go over your pet’s head and also be tightened snug on their neck.
Martingale Slip: This streamlined martingale collar slips over your dog's head (and when tension is applied) tightens and prevents the dog from backing out of the collar. This collar tightens 2-3 inches to ensure a safe and comfortable wear. It functions like a classic martingale!
Martingale Chain: This martingale style collar consists of a main fabric collar loop and a silver half-check chain. When tension is applied this collar tightens and prevents the dog from backing out of the collar. It functions like a classic martingale!
Cat Collar: One size fits all please choose “Cat Collar” option in drop down menus. 3/4” width, adjustable 7-12” neck measurement. Lightweight safety breakaway buckle, silver slide, small silver D ring. Not for leash use. If the cat collar option is unavailable for your collar of choice send me a message! (It may be that the print is too large to fit this small width.)

3/4” width: For the little guys! Small and delicate dog breeds and cats. (If this size is unavailable on the collar of your choice it may be that the print is too large to fit this small width.)
1" width: Comfortably fits pets of almost any size, from corgis to labradors! For most, this the width one envisions when thinking of a standard dog collar.
1.5" width: One size up from our 1" width, this is the most loved size among medium to large pets and those with a little extra collar-consuming fluff! This is the width I personally prefer for my adult male Siberian Husky.
2" width: The eye catcher! This width is for pets with a larger than life size to match their personality! A great option for GSDs, giant breeds, dogs with extra long necks, and long haired large pets. This is largest width we offer.

DOG NECK SIZE
Are your collars adjustable? Example?
-All dog collars are made with at least 2-3 inches of adjusting room in each direction from the Dog Neck Size specified. For example: Your dog has a 16" neck --> Medium 16" is selected. This collar will arrive adjusted to the 16” neck size you chose but also have an estimated adjustable range from 13-19 inches. This wiggle room ensures a comfortable wear.
How do I measure for my Dog Neck Size?
-Use a fabric tape measure and measure around your pet's neck where a collar would normally sit. Pulling it snug, you should be able to fit 2 fingers between the neck and tape measure. This number (in inches) is your Dog Neck Size. If you have any questions do not hesitate to send me a message, Dog on the Moon is not responsible for any customer error including inaccurate sizing. I recommend measuring twice to ensure accuracy!
How do I order an extra adjustable puppy collar?
-If you have a growing puppy and would prefer EXTRA wiggle room, write your specifications in the notes to seller upon checkout and I will do my best to meet your request! Please provide puppy’s current neck size (in the Dog Neck Size drop down menu) and breed/estimated adult size in the notes to seller. I love making puppy collars and can usually add 5-8” inches of growing room to last through a few growing spurts so don’t be shy with the details!

Please acknowledge that I do not produce these fabrics myself and colors may appear slightly different in person compared to photos on a screen. How do I clean my collar?
I recommend hand washing your collar. Using warm water and mild detergent, gently scrub the entirety of the fabric loop and rinse thoroughly. These collars are designed with a waterproof core so you do not have to worry about moisture build up (or the smell that can accompany it). Remove excess water by patting with a towel, drying the hardware thoroughly. Lay collar on a flat surface to dry. Do not place in a commercial dryer. Once completely dry, your collar is as good as new! Wrinkles can be easily combatted with a quick pass of an iron on the LOWEST setting. Keep in mind that our cotton collars are similar to a classic t-shirt material and may wear over time. Metal hardware is not for made for consistent water-wear. With proper care and maintenance, your collar will last through all of your most memorable adventures and well deserved naps!

I do not recommend leaving a collar on your pet unsupervised. Keep your best friend safe; remove all accessories before leaving your pet alone to avoid choking and strangulation hazards.
