This listing is for a new size for small areas or budgets! This Himalayan Salt Panel is made exactly the same as our larger PANELS, just at a reduced size. Each panel is APPROXIMATELY 9.5" wide by 13.5" high and just under 4" thick and these are outside dimensions of the final piece, including the framing. Please see below for more information. It has the same professional grade Architectural LEDs as our full size panels, comes in your choice of plug-in or hardwired electrical and even has a wireless remote controller! The controller dims/brightens and turns the lamp on/off.
Each mini Panel has 3 Himalayan Salt tiles and we choose them so that you have a nice variety of tones, sediment veins and color. We have an option of SUNRISE/SUNSET where we select a darker one, a medium and a light one to create an ombre pattern as light, medium and dark. Use the drop down menu and choose either SUNRISE or SUNSET for this option. For sunrise, the lightest tile will be on top. For sunset, the darkest tile will be on top. See more info below. If you would like the tiles placed randomly, choose VARIETY.
You will also choose HARDWIRE or PLUG-IN. Plug-in is intended to be set on a surface as a lamp and DOES NOT come with a hanging bracket but naturally you can hang them on a wall as well with your own hardware. The HARDWIRE is intended to hang on a wall and comes with a hanging bracket. This is where the SUNRISE or SUNSET choice is important as we will place the hanging bracket accordingly. Again, this bracket only comes with the HARDWIRE option. For the utmost in flexibility, you can email us and ask us to have your PLUG-IN cord come out the middle of the back of the panel. This way, you can place it as SUNRISE or SUNSET! If this request is not made, the cord will come out the bottom according to the style chosen.
Not intended for wet, humid, or steamy areas. If you would like to install yours in a sauna, please attach a note at checkout stating SAUNA INSTALL and we will reach out to you with instructions.
The panel outside dimensions measure 9.5" wide x13.5" high and this is approximate due to the handmade nature. IF THE OUTSIDE DIMENSION IS CRITICAL, AS IN NEEDING TO FIT INTO AN EXACT SPACE, PLEASE ARTICULATE THIS AHEAD OF TIME. The tiles start off 4"x8" but are handcut and therefore are not exactly the same. We sand each tile to make them consistent with one another, fit them into the pre-framed size and connect them together, then the framing gets added. The framing typically adds 1.5" to each dimension. So if you need exactly 13.5" or 9", etc, please let us know and your finished item will be created to this size, otherwise, please expect some variance due to the tiles themselves and the handmade nature. The solid wood framing is ash, which is medium to light. The finish is a light oil and wax.
Each panel will effectively cleanse a 12x12' room and will cast quite a glow as well! Use your dimmer to control the light for the mood. Each panel weighs approximately 10 lbs, and they vary somewhat due to variance in the density of the materials.
These mini panels are excellent for a desk, bookshelf (plug-in) hanging on a wall (hardwire) or in small groupings. The framing is wide enough to rest the panel on either side as shown in the pictures, so does not require hanging, making it very functional and practical. Remote controller style may vary but not the functionality described here.
