1. Seam Allowance
* The pattern does NOT include seam allowance. Add at least:
* 1 cm (0.5 inch) to all seam edges.
* Depending on the pattern, extra seam allowance for hem are recommended.
2. Fabric Grainline
* Align pattern pieces with the grainline of your fabric for proper drape and fit.
* The grainline is marked on your pattern—ensure it is parallel to the fabric selvage.
3. Printing the Pattern
* Print at 100% scale (no scaling).
* Since most home printers do not print edge-to-edge, assemble and glue the pages together.
4. Sewing a Mock-Up
* Before cutting your final fabric, make a test version (mock-up) using inexpensive fabric (like nettler or muslin).
* This helps adjust fit, length, and cut-out placement before committing to your main fabric.
