I designed ‘Sholach’ for my friends Kelly, Craig and their family, who run Sholach Christmas Tree Farm in Scotland.
It is a lovely winter or Christmas project created using the overlay mosaic technique.
The PDF has 6 easy-to-read charts (with X’s for DCs) for each pattern included and corresponding written instructions.
Two PDFs are available - one using US terms and one using UK terms.
The pattern is only available in English for now.
You'll find links to FREE additions found on Ravelry within the PDF. Deer, log cabins and tents. These were designed after the main pattern and therefore are not a part of this PDF.

You can use any yarn and corresponding hook you like for this pattern; just remember that a tighter tension is better for mosaic crochet.
For my blanket, I used:
• 10 x 100g skeins of Stylecraft Special Aran in Parchment (Colour A)
• 4 x 200g skeins of Sirdar Jewelspun in Golden Green (Colour B)
• 5mm hook
This will create a blanket approximately 155cm x 115cm (61” x 45”) without a border.
You can of course, create any size you want, as it’s a simple repeating pattern.
