Product Description:
Rattail cactus grow profuse and long stems that love to hang over the edge of baskets, and when happy will be loaded with blooms from top to bottom. The stems are covered in spines like many cactus but they are short and bristle like. The stem can take on a reddish color depending on temperature and lighting conditions and makes an attractive houseplant.

Growing Instructions: Full sun, low water
Bright direct sunlight works great for indoor locations, and full or filtered sunlight is perfect for growing outdoors. A light well-draining soil does best; Allowing the soil to completely dry out between watering avoids over-watering and symptoms of root rot. Avoid freezing temperatures, anything near 32°F (0°C) is detrimental. Cuttings can easily be re-rooted. Half strength fertilizer.
You will receive a plant that is very similar to the plants pictured however they may have grown some or depending on the time of year, they could be semi-dormant. I have only grown plants in Florida and will send out anything I feel comfortable will grow here. It is up to you to know the conditions that these plants grow in the part of the country you reside in. I would never send a dying plant. Most of these plants we have are not "domesticated" so the must be grown similarly to their native climate. In other words, they flower when they flower, they go dormant when they go dormant, and they prefer the climates that they are used to growing in to flourish.
Ships in 3.5” pots. Fully Rooted! It is possible for leaves or stems to break in transit but generally this is only cosmetic, and the plant will recover once watered and put in a bright location (But not direct sun since they just came out of the box!). We take great care in packaging our plants and problems have always been VERY rare. Though our current shop is new, we have close to 10 years of experience shipping plants.
