Porcelain with Sea Glass Ring Dish, Tea-light Holder, Trinket tray.
This elegant handmade, white glazed porcelain dish is available embellished with sea glass, I have collected from my local beach, or without.
All my ceramic work is made in my home studio. The dish is created by draping a sheet of porcelain over a plaster mould and whilst still soft limpet shells are pressed into the clay to reveal a limpet embossed pattern. Before being glaze fired I add a piece of sea glass. Edges and forms are deliberately created in a rustic fashion to enhance its handmade quality.
The item you will purchase will not be the exact one in the photo as every item is handmade and every piece of sea glass is one of its kind thus utterly unique. I will, however, do my utmost to match the colour of the sea glass as best I can. Once purchased I will also send you a couple of images of different dishes so you can choose which sea glass embellished dish you prefer.
Dimensions: approximately approximately 9cm diameter, height 2cm.
Please note due to the addition of the sea-glass this item is not to be used with food.
