A really good part of making your own kimchi is that you can control how sour / fermented / spicy you like it. Fermented foods can help with better gut health too!
Each kit is enough for 2 medium sized head of Chinese leaf cabbage which you can buy in most big Supermarkets. Korean radish is harder to find but I have found it in the big Tescos and Morrisons.
Kit comes with Korean sea salt, Sweet rice flour, Sugar, garlic puree, ginger puree, fish sauce, anchovies, Korean hot pepper flakes (gochugaru) and easy to follow instructions. You only need to add the fresh ingredients; Napa cabbage, onions, etc. are not included.
