This is an intermediate pattern that requires significant amounts of simple sewing.
Snake made with worsted weight yarn will be approx. 6ft long. Blanket yarn snake is approx. 9ft long.
Materials Needed:
Worsted Weight Yarn in Green (1 skein), Cream (half skein), White (scrap amount), and Red (scrap amount) OR Blanket yarn- 1.5 skeins of main color, 1 skein of accent color, and scrap amounts for fangs and tongue.
2.75mm crochet hook for worsted weight/ 5.5mm hook for blanket yarn- these are my preferred hook sizes as I have very loose tension. You may need a larger hook.
12mm/30mm safety eyes
Hot Glue (optional)
Sewing needle
Stuffing, Stitch markers, Scissors, Pins
Optional- plastic fangs
Optional- 18gauge wire for posable snake
