PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION BEFORE MESSAGING QUESTIONS. I get a lot of messages daily and I've included answers to most frequently asked questions in the description. If you have questions after reading, please reach out and I'm happy to answer them!
TURNAROUND TIME: Wait times fully dependant on how fast I receive your package. Orders are placed in queue when your package of items arrives to me. Current wait time from when your package arrives about 4-8 weeks and may change without notice.
Bunny statue keepsake with your bunny's hair, ashes and/or other items. They can also be made without remains/items. Size is approximately 2 1/4" x 1 1/4".
BASE COLOURING:
The base is the bottom ~1/8 of the statue itself. Coloured bases can be customized to your liking or left clear. Most people want the base to be the colour of their bunny, perhaps with their eye colour or a collar colour added for example. The base can also resemble the colour of a favourite bed, toy, etc. The base can also be clear so the full focus is the hair/ashes/etc and only the hair dictates the colour of the statue. Glitter or foil flake can also be added to the base. Base details to be indicated when ordering in the personalization box.
ADD NAME AND/OR PHOTO:
Your pet's name can be added to the bottom if you'd like. Sorry, these are too small to contain a photo.
HAIR:
AMOUNT OF HAIR NEEDED: It depends on the length of the hair but if you imagine shaving a 1/2" square section, that is a good general idea. If hair is shorter, I recommend sending more. I can work with any amount so if only a little is available that is okay. I will send back any unused hair with the completed statue. Please only send as much hair as you would like to include. If the hair is sent, it is free for me to use as I see fit and I can't guarantee I'll have any leftover to send back. Likewise, if you send a lot of hair, I won't use it all by default. If you want me to stuff the statue as full as I can with hair and use up as much as possible, please indicate that in your package. This means the clear space in your statue would be very little or non-existent and it may look stuffed with bubbles more likely. Please note, although it is very, very rare, there is a small possibility that hair could change colour in resin. Hair tends to appear 'wet' in resin so may darken slightly. White hair may become transparent. I cannot pre-determine how resin will affect the hair.
**NOTE THESE ARE NOT REPLICAS: These are not meant to be exact replicas of your cat. I cannot place hair in exact locations to match markings on your cat. These are intended to be vessels to hold and preserve your cats remains, not be replicas. The position of the cat as well as the size does not allow for easily placing certain colours in certain areas and resin is fluid so things to do not stay put while curing. I place hair inside pretty well how it is sent to me in order to not disturb natural patterns in the collected fur or to risk loosing any. I generally don't pick colours out to place them in certain areas.
ASHES:
AMOUNT OF ASHES NEEDED: Please send a tablespoon of ashes and I will return any that is unused.
Ashes can be included in two different ways - as a small heart, or as the base (instead of a colour).
OTHER ITEMS:
Other items that can be included are whiskers, tags, food kibble, toy fur, cat nip, flowers, etc. There may be extra charges for some items. Whiskers are attached to the outside of the statue by default so let me know if you'd rather them inside.
NO ITEMS:
If you would like a keepsake without items included, I can absolutely do this! Typically what I do for these is colour the base in your cat's colours, and then add a heart at the top also in the colours of your cat. If you would rather not have the heart, please let me know at the time of ordering as I will do this by default.
ORDER PROCESS:
Once your order is placed, I will send you a blurb of information with my mailing address to ship items. You must ship with your local postal service, not a courier. This means Canada Post in Canada, USPS in the US, Royal Mail in the UK, etc. I cannot get FedEx, UPS, Purolator, etc to my post office box so please don't use these couriers or the packages will get sent back to you. It is your responsibility to pay for items to be shipped to me so I recommend checking pricing on that from your location to Canada prior to ordering. If you would like my postal code to check this, please message me and I'll give it to you. I always recommend sending your items tracked so you can keep an eye on them. I don't send you anything to ship your items in. Please put in a ziplock and mail in a bubble mailer or cardboard mailer (no paper envelopes please, they can break open in transit). I will send you a message as soon as I have it. US packages typically take up to 3 weeks to get to me, and overseas can be 4 weeks or more. Please note that I live rurally so items are mailed to my box at my local town post office so it may take me a few days to get there to pick up. Your package may say delivered, but that doesn't necessarily mean I have it yet. I typically only get the once a week, so you would receive a message within a week of it saying "Delivered".
CANCELLATION POLICY: **Only applies if your items have not been mailed to me and I have not started your piece**
Full refund up to 48 hours after order is placed. No refund will be honoured after this time. Please be aware I make purchases in order to be prepared for your piece prior to your items arriving. If you have changed your mind about providing fur, ashes, etc after the 48 hours. I can make you a statue without items which are still lovely keepsakes in honour of your pet. Thank you for the understanding. I recommend sending your parcel tracked. Cancellation policy still applies if packages are lost in the mail. I am not responsible for lost packages.
Resin is UV and heat resistant up to 230° dry heat. These are handmade items and flaws may be present. Resin will yellow over time, and this is accelerated by UV light, so it is recommended to keep pieces out of direct sunlight.
