Size & Color
Each letter is made from pine wood and comes in two different sizes. They can be made measuring 3.5 inches x 3.5 inches or 5.5 x 5.5 inches. I do not use vinyl decals on these tiles that could peel off later. Each tile is hand painted to ensure longevity of your investment. The background and font can be done in a black, white, gray, brown, cream, and navy. Each sign's background can be done in either solid, distressed, or whitewashed.
Distressed tiles:
The white and cream tiles are distressed with font color chosen in background. The black, brown, and gray are distressed with natural wood color visible. Can do these tiles with font color distressed marks instead of natural wood if prefer. If like distressed marks on the black or gray tiles to be font color please write distress with font color in personalization box. I know that everyone definition of distressed is different. I consider my tiles to be medium distressed. If you like your tiles to be lightly distressed or heavily distressed please specify in personalization box. If not specified tiles will be medium distressed.
Mounting:
Tiles can be purchased with or without velcro command strips attached to them. I feel this is the easiest method for installation of tiles on wall because they do not require as much measuring or drilling. Traditional sawtooth hangers cause tiles to tilt on wall after installation. The command strips allows tiles to set uniformly on wall.
I love the uniqueness of wood and do not attempt to conceal its natural beauty. For this reason they will be pieces with different grain patterns and/or knots. We feel this is what makes each piece a one of a kind.

Ordering:
When placing your order please choose your letter size and color from first drop box. The first color selection is tile color/ second color is the font color. In the second drop down menu choose the style: either solid color or distressed tiles. Then enter the letter you need and how many of each letter in the personalization box. Only use capital letters when writing the letters. For example A-1, B-2, C-1. Adjust the quantity to number of letters listed in personalization box. In addition please note if you do or do not want the scrabble corresponding number on your tiles. If do not specify the number will be painted onto tiles.
To keep processing time down on each order the back of the tiles will be left unfinished. This will not be noticeable at all if hanging on wall. If wanting to use tiles in some other way and back of the tiles will be visible I will finish the back at no extra cost but please be aware that they will have a 3-5 day longer processing time. If want back finished please leave me message in the personalization box that you want back finished.
Shipping charges are based on weight and will be less per letter added to order. Orders greater than $35 ship for free in United States.
