This lovely ring has three lovely sized old cut Diamonds set into a Classic Edwardian Setting. The centre Diamond is slightly larger than the other two and all stones are claw set. The three Diamonds are approx. 2.5mm and 3.5mm across, which would make the centre stone approx. 15 pts (or slightly less) and the two outer diamonds approx. 5 pts each (an approx. total of 25pts). Please Note that this is just a rough estimate as I am not a jeweller. It is an easy to wear ring made in a classic style.
This ring was made by Payton, Pepper & Sons Ltd of Vyse Street, Birmingham, England. They were operating in 1898 and were still operating in the 1980's. They have used a number of different variations of their hallmark, but the one stamped on this ring was used between 1901 and 1914 which means this ring was made during that time period. There is no date stamp, but the design of the stamp gives a good estimate of when it was produced.
* This gorgeous ring is made of solid 9ct Gold and is stamped inside the band "PP LD" and "9ct". See last photo.
* The ring weighs approx. 1.88 grams.

* An easy to wear ring made in a classic Edwardian style with three beautiful diamonds that display beautifully.
* The ring is a good size. I believe it is a US size "6.25" which is a UK size "M 1/2". (According to the Official International Ring Size Conversion Chart).
* The condition of the ring is excellent given it is vintage. There are a few barely visible marks to the Gold and/or the stones which you would expect from vintage jewellery, but they are not obvious. Just Beautiful. An excellent condition vintage ring.
* I believe this ring could be resized as the back of the band has no pattern on it. However, this would need to be done by a Jeweller. I think they can go up 2-3 sizes and down 2-3 sizes, but you would need to check as I am not a jeweller. It often depends on the style of the ring and the thickness of the band.
