The paddle is crafted by hand from high grade lumber. The traditional paddle comes with rounded edges on both sides, is fully sanded smooth and ready to be painted/decorated. It comes with a hole at the top of the handle so it can be hung up.
You have the choice of Pine, Maple and Oak. Pine is the cost effective slightly less heavy choice with a smooth surface making it great for painting. Maple is a premium hard wood with a hard smooth surface making it perfect for painting with spray cans, acrylics or paint pens. Oak is premium hard wood showcasing a naturally darker color with a beautiful grain on the surface. Oak is more suited for staining or a clear coat to show off the beauty of the wood with the embellishments added on top, but it can also be painted as well.
