The set of dictionaries that I work with currently I found on the "Free To A Good Home" table at a local Friends of the Library sale. Published in 1897, this four volume leather bound set was very much out of date and in poor shape. Sadly, the books were destined for the ash heap of history (aka the local landfill.)
I couldn't let them be destroyed and I hoped that others would love and appreciate their beauty as much as I did. Now the history of these books and the beautiful patina of their worn and well-loved pages add a timeless dimension to your new artwork.
