Welcome to the marvellous magical tepee pattern! This pattern has all the information to guide you through making one yourself. Whether your kids need a playtime hideout or you want a shared space for story time, this is perfect for you!
This pattern is a digital download and is available instantly after purchase. There are no paper templates, but a guide that you use along with a ruler and marking tool. Poles are enclosed within the fabric at each corner on the inside of the tepee.

Included with the pattern are several appendices with alternate size variations, tips for using directional patterns like stripes or chevrons, multiple door flap tie-back variations and a few assembly style variations. Also a guide for making a mat cover and pillows has been added in. No matter what kind of tepee you want to make, this pattern can make that possible.
Featured tepee is about 6 feet tall finished (more if you use longer poles) and an internal base of 4 feet square (external 50"). Alternate sizing is possible and calculations are included, though many contact me for help and I send new dimensions back. Perfect for playroom decor or nursery decor as a teepee, tepee, tipi, tee pee, playhouse or fort for your kids.

Materials:
4 yards of continuous fabric (canvas, cotton duck, twill or other heavy duty fabric is preferable- 10oz or less is best)
4 poles (dowels, square poles, pipe, PVC, etc) 1" X 1" X 72-96" based on preference
Lacing/cord/rope 24" or more to tie poles together, more if using cord for door tie-backs; leather or para-cord work well
Buttons or Velcro are optional depending on tie-back preference
If making a mat, anticipate 3 yds/2.7m at least 50" wide plus pillow forms, bed pillows or foam. Pillows require more fabric and pillow forms. Other accents may require more material, leather lace, grommets, battery operated lights or accent trims like pom pom trim.
You Will Also Need:
Sewing machine and thread
Ruler or yardstick
Scissors or rotary cutter and mat
Chalk or pencil or fabric marker
Drill and bit to make holes in poles
