All wood is 1 1/4 inches thick. The cross pieces on the ends are 4.5 inches wide and the rails are 5.5 inches wide. Bed is 73 inches high and 79 inches wide and 86 inches long. 60 inches of clearance from the floor to the bottom of the top rail. Inside dimensions are 76 inches wide and 81 inches long. ASSEMBLE REQUIRED. The 79 inch cross pieces on the ends need to be secure to the 73 inch posts using 2 inch screws, 3 in each end. The outside safety rail has already been attached to the top rail. A 3 inch back safety rail is included. The ladder has been assembled with 2 inch screws and lag bolts. The rails are secured with 4 inch x 5/16 lag bolts, 2 in each end. 20 slats included and each has been tested to 185 lbs, see picture. Bed ships in 3 packages.
