I use 1/4" thick birch wood and another 1/4" for frame on the tray painted black. Tray measures 10" from ear to ear.

You can choose color of wood. Or I can make ones with birch and paint it if desired. Have a color in mind just ask I'm sure I have your color. :)
From my own experience using stains with this wood and being a natural product, the wood grain will absorb wood stain differently producing variances in color.
Please be mindful that monitors and phone screens may display colors differently as depending on your screen settings.
These trays are intended for indoor use.
My trays are offered unfinished with no clear coat.
