However, I’ve been told USA weight 3 yarn is the DK yarn equivalent. Guages (tensions) and meters per 100g are provided, so you can match it to your own yarns if needed. The actual amounts used in weight are included, as well as full balls. Tension is needed for the correct size & yarn meters are needed to work out the weight of yarn you’ll need, if you don’t have the specified ones. *** materials are shown on 2nd photo *** ** Please note, the main body is worked using 3 strands of DK yarn together as a single stand ** He is approximately 58cm long… he’s big so he fits all the food. All the food & caterpillar patterns are included. He takes about 40 - 60 hours to complete. He can be made stuffed or unstuffed. If you make the unstuffed version, and you’d like bigger apple, pears, plums, strawberries and oranges, use 2 strands of yarn, and a 4mm hook. Pattern tested unstuffed version is shown in photos.
