However, you can substitute for any thickness of yarn (yarns of varying thicknesses will not work for this pattern, it must be a yarn of uniform thickness). If you are substituting the thickness, use the recommended hook size for your yarn. Please bear in mind this will affect the size of the finished item.
Please Note. This pattern is worked on the right side throughout. This means that you are cutting the yarn at the end of your row, then re-joining your new yarn at the beginning of the row just worked. You are not turning your work.
