Presented for your consideration is this vintage Soviet Russian vacuum fluorescent (NIXIE) display clock, and the distinctive feature of this model is its wonderful ceramic case made in the form of a Satyr's face! One of 5 types made by ELEKTRONIKA (the others was an owl, a cat with a bowtie, and two kinds of houses). The case of the clock is made of brown-colored glazed ceramics.
The other feature is that each of the digits is displayed by a separate tube. The tubes shine with green but are covered with yellow filters. Small bakelite control knobs on the bottom add to the charm of this extremely rare clock. The label on the back says "Souvenir with Clock Mechanism and Sound Signal - Article CHB-817 - Date of Issue 09.85, Price 34 Roubles".
The clock is powered by 220V. Manufactured in the USSR. At the bottom of the clock, at the bottom there are five buttons for adjusting and adjusting the clock and setting the alarm time and the alarm sound:
INSTRUCTIONS: Turn the power on and press button 2 to set the clock. Use the 3 button to set the minutes. Use the 5 button to reset. You need to press the 4 button to switch to the alarm clock set more and then use buttons 2 and 3 to set the time of the alarm. Press button 1 to move from the alarm setting to time display mode.
