This pretty Murano art glass bud vase was made with garza canes of lattimo glass alternating with pink ribbon canes with copper aventurine, and clear handles. Handmade on the island of Murano, Italy, it will doubtlessly be a conversation piece in any room. (The book visible in the first picture is not included.)
The green label on the bottom says "GENUINE VENETIAN GLASS / MADE IN MURANO ITALY" (see photo #9 and the top right frame of photo #10), and I believe this label is considered generic. The shape of this bud vase, however, has been identified in one of the Jordan Import Company's catalogs. Condition:
The condition of this bud vase is good, but one of the handles has a tiny rough spot where, when magnified (see top left frame, photo #10), there is a tiny little 'point' of glass that sticks out, with a slight indention underneath that you can feel but not as easily see. I think the point and indentation are most likely tool marks created when the glass handles were added, but I cannot completely rule out for sure, even with magnification, the possibility that the indentation may be a tiny chip. The vase also has one ribbon cane that ends before the bottom of the vase (see photo #10, bottom left frame) and some random bubbles throughout. There are also tiny ridges on the tops of both handles (see magnification of one of them in inset, photo #5). Please zoom in on and look closely at all pictures, as they are considered a part of the description.
