Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a very nice vintage wooden lamp from the atomic era. Circa '60s. Materials: Wood, Brass. The lamp base features four identical wooden elements, each with a cut out in the center, that together form what looks like a flower (see photos). The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch that is located at the socket. We are uncertain as to the manufacturer - no tags or labels are visibly present; there may be something underneath the felt on the bottom of the base, but we did not attempt to remove it. The lamp does not come with a shade - it will be left up to the purchaser to provide their own. It's a great lamp that is suitable for any interior setting, and it is ready to be enjoyed in a new home!
Measurements: Approx. 31" tall (measured from the bottom of the round wooden base to the light socket) x 8" wide x 8" deep. The round wooden base at the bottom of the lamp is approx. 8" in diameter.
Condition: The lamp is in very good condition - the base is free from chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, rust, oxidation, etc. - it's been kept in very good shape of over the years. The round brass plate over the round wooden base shows a nice gentle patination from age. The electrical wiring is in very good shape as well - no frays, splits, exposed, hard / brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly urge having the lamp inspected by a licensed professional prior to long-term use. It is being sold "as-is" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing, and we will respond back to you in a timely manner. All sales are final. Please bid with confidence.
