Should I pick Plywood or MDF Wood? MDF Wood is an excellent option if you plan on painting/spray painting the board. If you plan on staining it, you want to select Maple Plywood as your purchasing choice.

- - We use a high-powered laser when cutting our boards - - Wood + Laser = Fire - - As a result of our cutting process, the edges of your boards will have a unique honey to dark brown color and may retain a small amount of soot residue. While we do our best to clean the boards before shipping, some residue may flake off during transit. To ensure a pristine finish, a simple wipe-down with an unscented baby wipe or plain paper towel will do the trick.
- - Each piece of wood will slightly vary from another in terms of naturally occurring color, wood grain, and knots. These variations have no effect on the quality of the wood blank.
