This is an AMAZING Circa 80's Yves Saint Laurent Dress. This is a Gorgeous Animal Inspired Piece. It can be Worn as a Dress or a Coat. The Fabric is Raw Silk. The Animal Print is throughout the Fabric. It has a Large Notch Collar, Cuffs, and Black Buttons down the Front. There are Flap Pockets at the Bust and Slide Pockets below the Waist Designed to look like Flap Pockets to Match.

Some History of Yves Saint Laurent - He was born in Algeria in 1936. He attended fashion school. A Vogue Executive showed some of St. Laurent's sketches to Dior and he was hired on the spot. He was hired as Dior's assistant at the age of 17. Since he was Dior's protege he was named head of the House of Dior in 1957 at the age of 21 when Dior died. Following service in 1960 he suffered a nervous collapse. He was replaced in his position at Dior and opened his own Fashion House in 1962. He sold his ready-to-wear business in 1999 to Gucci and in 2002 when he retired, he shut down his Couture House.
