Toyota overengineered everything about the 5th Gen 4Runner except possibly for the rear bumper. The bolts that hold it onto the body have small 'cups' that hold water and dirt and generally just don't provide a clean look. That's why I designed these nifty little bumper caps! They fit perfectly into the 'cups' and are held into place via friction provided by the attached EVA foam inserts. All caps will have a textured surface to mimic the textured appearance of the trim, however smooth caps can be made by special request.
Please note, these are not meant to and will not keep water and dirt out of these 'cups', however they prevent a lot from getting in there. What does get in - they cover it all up nicely! Each cap is designed to allow any water that gets behind them to drain freely which prevents moisture from being retained behind them. They don't need to be removed to clean behind them, but you can if you wish!
This listing is for one set of 6 pieces. All six have EVA foam inserts attached to ensure a secure fit in the cups, hold them in place, prevent scratching, and ensure the caps don't rattle! While these provide a friction fit, if you're concerned or experience them being knocked out I recommend a small dab of silicone sealer in the bolt head cup on the reverse side. Once dried, the silicone will hold them in wonderfully but can still be removed if desired and will peel off as if it were never there!
