Stunning 400 Artek Armchair, also known as the TANK that was designed by Alvar Aalto. This chair is made out of birch wood in a cantilevered frame, the seat looks like it is floating. The chair is in great vintage condition with a light cream or cream and tan upholstery with a few spots that may clean out, the wood has very minor scratches and is in great condition. This chair was designed in 1936 for the Milan Triennale as a commission work. The sturdy seat and wide armrests offer a comfortable seating experience and give the chair its characteristic tank like appearance, but the appearance is still airy and organic a timeless classic.
