Having fun with granny squares!! This blanket uses the Sunburst Granny Square and a Tradition Granny Square laid out in an “every-other” pattern to create a kind of patchwork effect. It’s subtle, and focuses more on the art of beautiful hand dyed yarns rather than a quilted effect. However, it still shines through just a bit. —And you know just how much I love a quilt inspired blanket :)

The pattern uses the Nightfall Collection-DK by Hue Loco Yarn and a 4.5mm hook (size 7). That's (2300yds/1000g) of colourful squares with (1008yds/438g) of joining yarn.
Pattern includes all colours used and the yarn quantities as well as exact positioning. My gift to you is taking the work out of colourwork!
The final blanket size was: Approximately 45” x 57” inches.
