In 1998 after the Simpsons v. Patterson Sanitation Commissioner debacle, the town of Springfield was abandoned and relocated. On a recent road trip, I discovered these magnets as I stumbled upon a massive garbage pile after pulling off the road to stretch my legs approximately 5 miles outside of Springfield. I believe these to be the last known remnants of the original town of Springfield.
These are a set of magnets designed to look vintage and weathered. The image is sublimated onto the magnet, so it is very durable and resistant to fading. They have a beautiful glossy finish in contrast to their rustic look.
These magnets are roughly 2" x 2" and 1/8" thick. They are wood with sublimated image on the front and a thin magnet backing that allows them to stick to the fridge or any metal/magnetic surface.
