PLATFORM BED No.4 IN WALNUT by WILBUR DAVIS STUDIOS
Our Platform Bed No. 4 is the perfect complement any bedroom with some warm modern style.
This bed combines our solid joinery and simple bolt together construction with an elegant rounded edge which wraps around the frame. We're using a digital dovetail-half lap joints at each corner. These are locked in place as the legs are connected, making for simple assembly.
We can also make this bed with tapered legs (shown) or straight cylinder legs (see 5th image). Please note your preferred leg style when ordering.
We build these beds with robust poplar slats that nest into pocketed solid wood rails. Beds larger than Twin have a hardwood midbeam and center leg. This bed is designed for use without a foundation or box spring.

This listing is for a solid walnut bed in the size of your choosing, finished with oil and wax. We finish with Rubio Monocoat "Pure" oil-wax. If you are interested in another finish, please contact us prior to placing your order.

DIMENSIONS
We make this to order in standard bed sizes. Use the drop down list to make your selection.
The platform shown is 14 inches from the ground. We offer lower heights as well. Select your preference from the drop down list, and we'll build it to your needs.
The bed frame extends 1 inch around outside the dimension of the mattress along the rails and footboard. Slats are spaced under 2 inches apart to provide a supportive foundation for your mattress.
