I take great pride in my work and I am committed to striving for excellent craftsmanship. I build all of our frames myself in my small wood shop in the southern Appalachians. I offer frames made from oak variations, walnut, and cherry wood that is locally sourced and sometimes reclaimed.
The wood grain of a tree is like it’s fingerprint, making each frame incredibly unique! If you purchase multiples in one order, I will choose frames for you that have complimenting characteristics.
How to order:
1. Find the listing with the wood species you are looking for. We currently offer cherry, oak and walnut. We will be adding a rustic frame option and a black frame option in the near future. Frames are listed by frame species + spline species.
2. Choose the size of your print, or the outside size of your mat if you will be adding one. Check our website for other matting options or offers. If you do not see your size, we can still build it! Just contact us for a custom listing.
3. Read below for your glass and other options. Add the discount code FRAMEONLY if you don't want any acrylic glass added to your frame.
4. Reach out with any questions! We do our best to answer the same day.
Frame details:
-Frames are listed by the print size. For example, an 18x24 frame will fit an 18x24 print or photo.
-The wood dimensions are 1" depth with a 3/4" face.
-Double splines in each corner reinforce the joint and add a simple and timeless artistic detail.
-Frames are finished with a natural oil and wax blend.
-Sawtooth hangers will be added for hanging your frame. If you would like an easel back added OR a wire setup, please reach out to us directly.
-4-ply backing is added to each frame. Acid free foam core backing is available by contacting us directly.
-Flex tabs are inserted for adding your artwork or photo with ease.
!IMPORTANT! GLASS OPTIONS:
-Frame grade UV filtering acrylic glass will be added to your frame unless you choose otherwise.
-If you would like to upgrade to non-glare or museum grade acrylic, please contact us directly before placing your order so we can create a custom listing for you.
-If you DO NOT want acrylic glass added to your frame at all, please use code FRAMEONLY and a discount will be applied to your purchase.
