A crochet pattern to make everyone's favourite sky Bison- Appa from Avatar the last Airbender! This 2 part 18 page PDF pattern includes step-by-step instructions with 70+ pictured to recreate Appa perfectly. It also contains templates which can be used to cut shapes out of felt.
This is an intermediate level pattern suitable to semi-experienced crocheters.
Dimensions of finished piece: 10.5 inches long and 4.5 inches tall (this may change depending on the yarn you choose to use).
Techniques needed...
• Single Crochet (UK Double Crochet)
• Colour changes
• Working in rounds
• Basic sewing to attach pieces
• Cutting and sewing complex felt shapes (templates included)
You will need...
• Chunky yarn of your choice in brown (60g), cream (80g), fluffy cream (50g), dark grey (10g) and beige (5g)
• 5mm Hook
• Stuffing
• Tapestry Needle
• Scissors
• Felt in beige, dark brown, black and white + thread in these colours (if
you would prefer not to sew the felt down, fabric glue can be used instead!)
