These wooden letters are crafted with MDF. MDF has a smooth consistent look with no wood grain. They are great for painting if you are wanting a nice smooth flat finish. We lightly sand the front and back of each letter.

I've always offered a 2 dimensional proof, but you couldnt see how thick the letters are. Now you'll be able to spin the letters around, zoom in etc, and see exactly what they look like. Every order will receive a free digital proof. This will be sent through Etsy messages, so be sure to check for it. I wont wait for a response to start your letters, (sometimes people don't respond and I don't want to delay your order) but its your chance to let me know what you think of the letters, and if you want to make a change. So please message me as soon as you can if you want to make any changes. A customization fee may apply depending on how drastic the change is, but I'll let you know beforehand if your request will require it. (most changes don't require a customization fee.)

Select the font you'd like your letters to come in, and then select your size. Then in the personalization box type the characters, or words you would like. (Type them in uppercase, or lowercase and we will cut them accordingly.) The price is per letter based on size and thickness, so the quantity box needs to match the number of characters you typed. For example, if I ordered the word WELCOME, I would enter a quantity of 7 because there are 7 letters. (If the wrong number is entered, I'll have to cancel the order, and have you place a new order so you are charged the proper amount.)
I have many heights and thicknesses listed, (Etsy will only let me list so many...) but I can custom make them to any size with a special request. Just message me to let me know!
In most fonts the letters vary in size. This is something everyone is used to seeing, and you don't think about it. But if we forced every letter in a font to be the same exact height, it would look strange to us. For that reason, when I craft your letters, I first make the letter "A" of that font to the height ordered, then all the other letters are proportionate to the Letter "A". This helps you make the perfect word or phrase without it catching your eye that some of the letters look out of place. That being said, I know that sometimes you want your letter to be a certain height if its being used by itself. Please let me know if you want the letter to be an exact height of 7 inches.
Large letters that when packaged are in the UPS oversized category may be subject to extra shipping charges.
