Made of pure stainless steel (or brass for Gold Engraved Cards), the cards offered on ETSY is non-functional and serves as a NOVELTY CARD ONLY. But it is capable of being converted and used as a Fully Functional Debit/Credit Card by transplanting the customer's original card chip and transferring the card's magnetic stripe data. All cards offered are of the same exact dimensions as your original bank card.
"I WANT A FUNCTIONAL CARD" - To make your card functional, you will have to send us your card so that we may safely and securely transplant your original card's chip onto the new metal card as well as transfer the card's magnetic stripe data. This will allow you to use your card for INSERT AND SWIPE PAYMENTS - AS WELL AS ATM USE. Since you are sending your card over to us, you will have freedom to choose which courier to send it through: FedEx / DHL / UPS / USPS / Registered Mail. (Cost is shouldered by the customer). Shipping instructions will be provided on messages.
"I DON'T WANT TO SEND MY CARD. I'LL DO THE CHIP TRANSFER MYSELF" - Yes, this is 100% possible. If you would like to do this yourself, we will send you a Video on how you can remove the chip yourself along with a list of Materials you will need to make the Transplant. As for the magnetic stripe, since you do not have the machine to make the data transfer, your new card's magnetic stripe will not work. But this is okay as Stores no longer use the magnetic stripe for payments.
"I WANT TO MAKE MY OWN DESIGN" - If you'd like to make your own design, contact us first. Send us an image reference of the design that you want, and we will see if it is something that we can work with. If it is something that can be done, we will provide you a Digital Render of how your design will look like on your desired Card Color.
"HOW SAFE IS THIS PROCESS?" - You do not have to send us your card's exact details. You can modify your card's expiry, card number, CVV, etc., to protect your card's original data. If you are sending your card over for conversion, we recommend not including your card's CVV for the engraving and erase it from your card so that it remains hidden. Scratch it off with a knife until it's no longer visible. As for your physical card, lock it through your mobile banking app before shipping. This way your card is protected from (1) being used physically (2) information being used for online purchases.
