This kit allows you to securely transport your fishing rods while keeping them safe and out of the way during your travels. The holder is designed with a 27" piece of 1/2" Pipe that bridges both rear side mounts.
For vehicles with a sunroof, the forward mounts can be installed by trimming the headliner trim. If your 4Runner does not have a sunroof, you will need to provide your own bungee cord to securely hold the rods between the front passenger and driver side top handles. The bungee cord is a necessity for non-sunroof models and light-action trout or fly rods. Please note, the bungee cord is not included in the kit.
This kit is best suited for lighter fishing rods and is not recommended for heavy ocean setups due to weight limitations.
