This is the Maxi (x-large) round cake carrier made by Tupperware in the 1970s that is the perfect solution for storing or transporting a layer cake. The cake plate is in the original white and the top is sheer. Both top and bottom are marked by Tupperware, as is the handle. The top has a nice tight and secure seal. Great for cakes, but could easily be used for cookies, cupcakes, a pie, bread .... any baked goods. It comes complete with the handle, so you transport with ease. Perfect for homemade rolls -- just turn it upside-down and the top turns into a large bowl!! This vintage Tupperware is in good condition; the top and base are nice however the underneath of the base does have marks where someone used that side for slicing the cake.
