It's written in US terms and is beginner friendly, the pattern includes instructions for sizes XS-5X as well as tips for made-to-measure version.

You'll need:
• Scissors, stitch markers, yarn needle, tape measure
• #2 Fine/Sport weight yarn (for the colorful Thneed I used Stenli Berlin (320m in 100g) and worked with a 4 mm hook; for the purple one I used Alize Angora Gold (550m in 100g) and a 6 mm hook. But feel free to use any other weight you'd like; the pattern includes tips for adjusting to any yarn and hook size. For example for the pink-blue Thneed you can see in the photos I used different worsted weight scrap yarns and a 7 mm hook).
• 4 mm hook for #2 Fine/Sport weight yarn. If using a yarn weight different than that, I recommend choosing a hook a size or two larger than what you would normally use for this yarn. The bigger size the hook is, the more flexible and drapey the Thneed would be.
GAUGE: If you're working with #2 Fine/ Sport weight yarn and a 4 mm hook, the first three rounds of the pattern should measure 8cm/ 3 inches. (Gauge is unimportant since the pattern can easily be adjusted to your own measurements.)
This is a beginner friendly pattern - I have provided very detailed steps as well as 16 photos throughout the pattern, therefore I believe this pattern is suitable even for first attempts at creating wearable garments.
